Is anyone having any success in trying to sell their week if so, how did you do it?
Asked on October 28, 2019 1:25 pm

Will do, thanks so much.

Julie As the weeks I sold were not Underscar ones, I don’t know. As far as I recall, I had no costs at all. Worth asking WTH and then verifying with FML. If I remember correctly, the new owner cannot be a Limited Company and will need to be ”accepted” by the Board. Whilst I was on the Committee, this never caused any problem! Hope you are successful. Perhaps you will let me know the outcome. Stay safe.

We’ve now started discussions with WTH, quick question, if we sell via WTH are we responsible for the solicitors fee (£138) or the Fisherbeck Admin Fee (£120) that’s been quoted or is this all sorted by WTH.

Thanks in advance.

To be honest, with the advent of Covid it’s been the last thing on our minds but we will re-look at this once things are more settled.

Thank you David, I remember you as Chair. We’ll get in touch with WTH and take it from there.

Regarding WTH, it’s suggested I mention Andrew Horton, you’ve also suggested your name did261, what is it?

Julie, it really would be worth trying Gary @ WTH. It takes all the hassle away!

To be honest, we just want to get rid of it, only because it no longer suits our lifestyle, we have 3 dogs and they go everywhere with us (kennels / doggy hotels are not an option). We would be happy to cover our costs to be honest.

Depends how much you are looking for! We sold (strong term) Brackenburn wk 36 through ebay, but not for a great sum. I had put a minimum on that would cover the legal fees – I included in the sale details that we’d pay these. The outcome was that we no longer had a week we no longer wanted and had a little cash left after everything was settled

Julie I used Worldwide TImeshare Hypermarket. Telephone: 01202 544871. The contact is Gary Butler -on holiday till next week! You can mention me and also Andrew Horton of our Trustees Resort Fiduciary. I was very pleased with the way they handled my case and content with the result. I hope this helps.

I used a sales company successfully to sell weeks in Devon several years ago. I will try and find the paperwork and get back to you.
