PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLATOR?« Back to Questions List

I would like to suggest that a public access defibrillator (CPAD) is installed on the Underscar site. Time is of the essence when someone is experiencing heart failure and evidence strongly suggests that access to a defibrillator saves lives that would otherwise have been lost. Given the fact that many owners are at the age in life when heart attacks are most likely to strike, I feel that we should seriously consider installing this potentially life saving equipment on site. A couple of years ago I spearheaded a project in my village to install one in the underused telephone box and this has already been used twice. I would be happy to share my experience with the Board to get one at Underscar.
