Has any owners had experience of using the facility to bank their week for a week elsewhere. Interested to hear about the experience of doing this

Oh dear, I’ve just checked trust pilot for 7across and it has some terrible recent reviews suggesting that since it has been taken over by RCI some time ago, the service has been terrible and does not provide a service fit for purpose.
Suggest seatoller18 checks out this trustpilot website to gain answers to their original question.
If these are realistic reviews, are the owners committee aware of these criticisms, and is this company now not fit for purpose?
Might this need urgent reviewing?

I would be interested to know if any of the timeshare alternative exchanges matched the 5* standards of Underscar , as last time we queried this we were told 7across don’t star rate the alternatives for exchange. This means that you can’t get guaranteed equivalence for the 5* annual management fees that Underscar owners are paying.
I wonder why this form of timeshare exchange doesn’t star rate the exchange properties available and whether this is because very few would achieve 5* status?
To pay management fees that represent the standards at Underscar and then not achieve an equivalent standard of exchange of accommodation appears to beg many questions of 7across .
Surely there must be other 5* rated timeshares in existence so why not be more transparent and star rate them?

Before the Pandemic we twice banked our week and got good alternatives. Since the Pandemic it has been poor as they allowed too many owners to bank their week during the Pandemic knowing that they could not be occupied. They then had too many owners with banked weeks but limited supply. Also owners were reluctant to bank their week so again limiting supply. We had to use our banked week to reduce the cost of a week rather than a proper exchange.
