As a renowned chef and TV presenter with five cookbooks, Peter’s ethos is about empowering people to try new techniques, experiment with flavours, and have fun in the kitchen, with every dish carrying a story behind its flavours. Known for his vibrant approach to cooking, his style blends creativity, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for seasonal ingredients, honed in his home kitchen surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Lake District.

MENU- ‘Winter in the Lakes’

Bread

Caramelised onion and mature local cheddar sour dough with whipped butter

Starter

Porcini filled tortellini with a roasted walnut and butter sauce topped with sage and parmesan cheese

Main course

Braised short rib of beef with a roasted garlic Pom purée and a red wine sauce, topped with pickled shallots. Served with salt baked carrots

Slow braised King oyster mushroom with a roasted garlic Pom purée and a red wine sauce, topped with pickled shallots. Served with salt baked carrots

Rhubarb tart with vanilla Chantilly cream with Lakeland gingerbread
