What is the current policy for relinquishing? Is it still possible if the week has been advertised for sale for 12 months?

It would be reassuring to know how the Committee plan to further address and support an ageing demographic of owners, who own weeks with longer term leases within the Underscar development, but are failing to obtain sales or rentals via Underscar , and are left with no other option but to relinquish their week (s) so long as the marketing of sales and rentals is not widened to a national audience. Isn’t it therefore becoming increasingly important to maximise sales and rentals by having a nationwide marketing strategy as opposed to only being seen by those people who already are aware of Underscar? It would appear that many people are still unaware of Underscar on a national scale, so doesn’t this now require urgent attention before the business model is at risk of collapsing, (as one owner has expressed on another thread relating to relinquishment.)? Do the committee not consider this growing demographic of ageing owners with longer term leases, who for whatever reason need to sell their week(s) but are unable to do so under the current arrangements as being in need of urgent reappraisal ? If not careful it would appear as a downward spiral which could compromise all owners and not just those needing to sell . |

I have now found out that you have to contact the Renting and Sales people to put units up for sale. It used to be possible on the owners system I thought. Rentals Team |

It would be useful if the committee could identify where this form of detail is accessible within this Underscar owners website. |
