Their journey began by the sea in the Netherlands, where Cumbrian chef Alex and pastry chef Miek met in a fine dining kitchen. That shared passion for food led them to the Lake District fells, where they now create dishes that reflect creativity, authenticity, and their love for the outdoors. They believe food is more than just what’s on the plate — it’s about the people who grow it, the landscape it comes from, and the memories it creates.
This menu will celebrate some of their favourite local growers, farmers, and artisan makers. Each course will showcase the story of the people and landscapes behind the ingredients, guiding guests through a rich and flavourful journey across Cumbria.
