Join Alex and Miek of The Forest Food Studio for an unforgettable evening inspired by nature, flavour, and a story behind every ingredient. Their journey began by the sea in the Netherlands, where Cumbrian chef Alex and pastry chef Miek met in a fine dining kitchen. That shared passion for food led them to the Lake District fells, where they now create dishes that reflect creativity, authenticity, and their love for the outdoors. They believe food is more than just what’s on the plate — it’s about the people who grow it, the landscape it comes from, and the memories it creates.

With an incredible passion for creating dishes inspired by the great outdoors and sourcing local ingredients, they have crafted a stunning menu  named ‘Tonnta’ – The Irish Gaelic word for waves – Reflective of their ethos, shaped by the seasons, affected by nature and just like us, never standing still.
