As a renowned chef and TV presenter with five cookbooks, Peter’s ethos is about empowering people to try new techniques, experiment with flavours, and have fun in the kitchen, with every dish carrying a story behind its flavours. Known for his vibrant approach to cooking, his style blends creativity, simplicity, and a deep appreciation for seasonal ingredients, honed in his home kitchen surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Lake District.

MENU- ‘Autumn in the Lakes’

Freshly baked focaccia with caramelised onion, extra virgin olive oil and a damson vinegar

Starter 

Crostini of roasted plum, walnut and local Brie served with a honey dressing

Main course 

Fillet of sea trout served with crushed spring onion potato cake, seasonal vegetables and a chive butter sauce

Veggie option 

Confit of butternut squash, served with a sage and Parmesan crusted. Finished with salsa verde

Dessert 

Apple and blackberry parfait with crumble cream, Italian meringue and berry coulis
